Job summary

Sonos LLC in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support OPEX planning, forecasting, and reporting within the Product FP&A team. You’ll partner with Hardware & Software functions to drive insights and process improvements.

The role is hybrid: you’ll expect to be in the office 3 days per week and collaborate with cross-functional partners while teaching and learning in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or similar field.
• 4+ years progressive FP&A, accounting, consulting or banking experience.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets modeling and analysis; summarize large data sets.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, accrual accounting, full P&L and budget management exposure.

Responsibilities

• Drive annual planning and monthly forecasting with business partners.
• Maintain planning calendars, templates, and Anaplan inputs.
• Create forecast-to-forecast variance explanations.
• Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate accruals and analyze results.
• Lead OPEX variance explanations and storytelling with FP&A teams.
• Contribute to FP&A and Accounting process improvements across orgs.
• Support ad hoc projects and long-term planning with business partners.
