Job summary

Local Projects is seeking a Senior Producer to lead interdisciplinary design projects, balancing creative objectives with budgets and schedules. You will collaborate with creative leadership to oversee all aspects of delivery from concept through production and installation, ensuring high-quality design development and execution.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in experiential design project management, with proven ability to plan, estimate, and drive cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of project management experience in experiential design, with at least 3 years of direct experience managing project teams.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Based in NY, CT, NJ, VA, MD, or DC and able to work hybrid (in studio/remote).

Responsibilities

• Lead interdisciplinary project teams in partnership with the Creative Director.
• Develop integrated project plans and oversee day-to-day task management.
• Define roles, responsibilities, and deliverables across all phases.
• Plan efficient workflows and production processes to improve collaboration.
• Champion best practices to refine tools and methods for creative workflow.
• Develop and manage project budgets and timelines to maintain quality.
• Estimate design and production phases, develop cost proposals, and align with clients and partners.
• Build and manage resource plans and draft scopes of work with clients and vendors.
• Foster relationships with global production partners including architects, fabricators, and AV specialists.
• Monitor project health using data-driven insights.
• Coordinate on-site services during installations, including logistics and approvals.
• Serve as primary client contact, maintaining clear communication.
• Develop strong client relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for additional scope and negotiate added services.
