Aston Carter is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing strategies and supplier negotiations to ensure supply continuity and cost optimization. The role is based in Meriden, CT, with a hybrid work setup and occasional travel to supplier sites and events.

You will manage RFQ/RFP processes, monitor spend, and ensure compliance with laws and internal policies while driving cost-reduction initiatives. A manufacturing background is preferred and a 40-hour week is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Applied Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or related experience.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management abilities.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with objectives and profitability targets.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes and supplier reviews.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and partnerships.
• Collaborate with purchasing and supply planning to oversee procurement and replenishment.
