Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Procurement Analyst for a contract-to-hire role based in Reading, PA. The position focuses on managing purchasing, data quality, and supplier communications to support smooth procurement processes.

This onsite role offers incentive-based bonuses, paid time off, and holidays during the contract period. The candidate should have 5+ years in supply chain functions, strong communication, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supply chain experience; could include planning or purchasing.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented and customer-focused personality.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the ERP system to determine purchasing needs and maintain data quality for purchasing requirements.
• Prepare all necessary documentation for each purchase order.
• Communicate daily with suppliers and vendors regarding delivered purchase orders.
• Coordinate invoice issues with vendors and accounting, and manage any delivery requirements with vendors.
• Collaborate with engineering and project managers to ensure item qualifications.
• Establish and maintain contracts with vendors, including meetings with sales and vendor representatives as needed.
• Support inventory and supply chain needs through data analytics.
• Identify bad inventory and assist in strategies for disposal, resale, or return to vendors.
• Develop, maintain, and implement detailed inventory management best practices.
• Perform additional duties as required by the Supply Chain Manager.
