Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a senior procurement/process improvement professional to design, map, and optimize end-to-end P2P workflows. You will apply process engineering methods, define metrics, and lead change across multiple teams.

Hybrid work and preference for Indianapolis-based candidates are noted. The role requires a strong IT foundation, extensive procurement experience, and familiarity with frameworks like ITIL/COBIT/Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 9 years experience authoring and analyzing technology processes with 5 years in process implementation in portfolio/project management.
• Process modeling languages such as XPDL and SIPOC; process design, mapping and quality tools; and organizational change management concepts.
• Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT or Six Sigma frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Gathers information on existing processes.
• Performs analysis on current capabilities vs. desired capabilities.
• Facilitates enterprise-level efforts to identify best-known-method processes and integration.
• Defines process design, mapping and quality assurance tools for processes.
• Conducts testing to ensure standard processes, policies and templates are used.
• Interprets testing results and reviews continuous improvement plans with senior management.
• Applies mapping and streamlining techniques to implement/improve processes.
• Defines and implements process metrics and establishes baseline performance.
• Interviews associates to document workflows.
• Assists in training associates on new processes.
• Authors and interprets processes, templates and guidelines.
• Creates and executes implementation plans for new processes.
• Provides post-production support for issue management and resolution.
• Identifies architecture and design techniques for process systems.
• Long Term: Senior member influencing Procurement tech stack across P2P platforms.
• Strong understanding of Procurement/Sourcing across P2P processes.
• Data-first IT mindset with experience in process engineering.
