Job summary

Elevance Health seeks a Strategic Sourcing Manager to support procurement through the execution and implementation of sub-category sourcing strategies. The role is hybrid—in-office 1-2 days per week—with flexibility for candidates able to commute to Indianapolis, IN and other listed locations.

You will build strong relationships with internal customers and suppliers, lead negotiations, manage e-procurement catalogs, and drive cost savings while ensuring supplier compliance and performance across

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS with 8 years in sourcing/supplier selection and at least 6 years in negotiation of pricing and contract terms.
• MBA preferred and CPSM certification preferred.
• Carelon experience and/or pharmacy/PBM experience preferred; complex negotiation and contract project management experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Executes standardized strategic sourcing processes for assigned sub-categories.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal customers and key suppliers.
• Focuses on cost savings and procurement efficiency.
• Participates in cross-enterprise commodity teams and tracks supplier non-compliance and performance benefits.
• Participates in fact-based negotiations and contracts with approved terms.
• Implements sourcing recommendations and manages e-procurement catalog content.
• Monitors and reports supplier compliance and performance.
