Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a senior procurement/process improvement professional to design, map, and optimize end-to-end P2P workflows. You will apply process engineering methods, define metrics, and lead change across multiple teams.

Hybrid work and preference for Indianapolis-based candidates are noted. The role requires a strong IT foundation, extensive procurement experience, and familiarity with frameworks like ITIL/COBIT/Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 9 years experience authoring and analyzing technology processes with 5 years in process implementation in portfolio/project management.
• Process modeling languages such as XPDL and SIPOC; process design, mapping and quality tools; and organizational change management concepts.
• Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT or Six Sigma frameworks.

• Long Term: Senior member influencing Procurement tech stack across P2P platforms.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Long Term: Senior team member heavily influencing the total Procurement tech stack as it is fully integrated across all P2P platforms

Strong understanding of Procurement/Sourcing across the entire P2P processes.

Strong foundation in IT and connecting systems with a data first mentality (history of process engineering or re-engineering).

Requirements:

Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 9 years experience authoring and analyzing technology processes with 5 years experience with process implementation in portfolio management and/or project management; process modeling languages such as Process Definitional Language (XPDL) and models such as Supplier, Input, Process, Output, Customer (SIPOC); with process design, mapping, quality tools, and organizational change management concepts; with process/maturity models in the applicable domain (ITIL, CMMI, Six Sigma, COBIT); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Green Belt Six Sigma certification strongly preferred.

Knowledge of portfolio management strongly software.

Job Type: Possible Temp To Hire

M - F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM US EST(Prefer the candidate to work in Indy--however, will consider a remote candidate/other locations for the best candidate.)

Hybrid is acceptable (expectation in office 1-3 times weekly.)

Candidates must be within a reasonable commute to a PulsePoint location.

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, contractors are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week.
