Job summary

Superhuman in San Francisco is seeking a Senior People Programs Manager to own and scale programs across onboarding, performance, engagement, and career pathing. You will design, implement, and measure programs that scale with the company.

Ideal candidate has 5-7+ years in People/HR operations, strong program management, data-driven mindset, and ability to partner with Finance, Legal, and IT. Hybrid work model supports collaboration and focused work time.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in People programs, HR/People operations, or a related field, with a track record of owning programs end-to-end.
• A builder’s mindset — able to create structure where none exists and turn ambiguity into clear plans with owners and timelines.
• Strong program management skills, with the ability to run multiple programs in parallel without dropping threads.
• A data orientation — define success metrics up front and use them to judge program effectiveness.
• Experience partnering across People sub-functions and with cross-functional teams like Finance, Legal, and IT.
• Bonus: consulting experience, or time at a fast-growing global company juggling many moving pieces and people.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale programs across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, appropriate for Superhuman’s current and future size.
• Translate ambiguous or competing needs into structured programs with clear phases, owners, success criteria, and timelines.
• Act as a systems-thinker, helping bring structure to how the People Team sets priorities and makes decisions.
• Manage multiple programs in parallel, maintaining cadence and clear communication across stakeholders.
• Drive adoption and enablement, including leading training for employees and managers when appropriate.
• Define leading and lagging indicators to evaluate program health and inform iteration.
• Contribute to cross-functional work that touches People, Legal, and Finance, often with embedded EA and Ops leads.
