Prudential Financial, Inc. is hiring for a Senior Operations Associate in PGIM Investment Operations, Newark, NJ, with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in the office).

The role focuses on supporting day‑to‑day operations across equities, fixed income, FX, and derivatives to ensure accurate, timely processing and data integrity. You will partner with brokers, custodians, fund accountants, and internal teams to resolve issues, drive process improvements, and build expertise in investment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the settlement of investment transactions across multiple asset classes.
• Coordinate with brokers, custodians, fund accountants, counterparties, and internal teams for timely processing.
• Monitor and resolve settlement exceptions and operational issues.
• Research and resolve inquiries related to trade, cash, FX, and portfolio activity.
• Perform cash, position, transaction, and other reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks with stakeholders.
• Monitor controls and escalate material exceptions and risks.
