Job summary

PGIM in Newark, NJ, is seeking an Investment Operations professional to support day‑to‑day portfolio processing across asset classes. You will work with brokers, custodians, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely transactions and data integrity.

The role offers exposure to settlements, reconciliations, asset servicing, and derivative-related support, with a hybrid work schedule and collaboration across the middle office and fund administration functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist settlements across multiple asset classes (equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives).
• Coordinate with brokers, custodians, fund accountants, and internal teams on processing.
• Monitor settlement exceptions and unresolved trades; resolve operational issues.
• Perform cash, position, and transaction reconciliations; address breaks.
• Support asset servicing events: dividends, corporate actions, etc.
• Assist with derivatives, margin, collateral activity; monitor related controls.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in process automation and efficiency initiatives.
