Job summary

KPFF Special Projects Division in Seattle and Tacoma is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 6+ years experience to join our team. This role focuses on heavy civil, structural, and waterfront projects, offering Hybrid work and collaboration with a multidisciplinary group.

You will work on design of machines and assemblies, perform stress analyses (FEA), and coordinate with clients on project delivery. PE registration and a Mechanical Engineering degree are preferred; SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Revit

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• PE Registration.
• 6+ years of experience in mechanical engineering project work.
• Design for dynamic loads and fatigue; weldments and structures.
• Stress analysis including FEA; machine design components.
