KPFF Special Projects Group in Seattle/Tacoma is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 3-6 years of experience to work on diverse projects including moveable bridges, hangar doors, terminal infrastructure, and marine facilities.

Candidates should have a BS in Mechanical Engineering, an EIT, and hands-on experience with machine design, FEA, and SolidWorks; familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus. This role offers a hybrid work environment and strong professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• EIT is required.
• Exposure to project engineering and project management.
• Understanding of machine design, statics, dynamics, kinematics, fluid mechanics, and strength of materials.
• Familiarity with FEA and design of weldments.
• Knowledge of bearings, pins and standard machinery components.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks; familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
