Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
5+ years in mechanical design engineering, including 3+ years producing production-ready models, assemblies, drawings, and BOMs in a complex engineered-to-order or made-to-order environment.
Advanced 3D CAD skills with complex assembly modeling, design intent, drawing creation, tolerances, and DFM.
2+ years mentoring or training engineers and creating technical work instructions or design standards.
2+ years formal peer reviews or quality checks of engineering models, drawings, BOMs, and release docs.
2+ years with PLM/ERP systems, including controlled part, BOM, and order releases to production.
2+ years handling engineering or order changes through documented workflows.
Experience with root cause analysis and KPI reporting.
Ability to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance, coaching, and knowledge transfer to mechanical design engineers.
Create training plans, work instructions, design checklists, and practical guidelines to improve capability and consistency.
Own mechanical naming conventions, CAD standards, reusable content, and the governed part library in Teamcenter.
Lead peer design reviews and quality checks for 3D models, drawings, BOMs, release packages, and manufacturing docs.
Build NX 3D digital twins of PACS and SIPANEL assemblies, including layouts and manufacturing-ready drawings.
Manage BOMs and releases to SAP production systems, including change notices and approvals.
Lead deployment of NX X and Teamcenter X, with focus on data quality and user readiness.
Coordinate with manufacturing to resolve build issues and improve manufacturability.
Perform structured root-cause analysis for design and release issues and drive corrective actions.
Report engineering KPIs and drive improvement in design quality and cycle times.
