Job summary

Impulse Space in Redondo Beach is seeking a Senior NX Application Engineer to own the Siemens NX and Teamcenter environment. You will be the primary technical expert ensuring health and performance of the CAD ecosystem, enabling propulsion, structures, and avionics teams to collaborate seamlessly.

You will design standard part libraries, troubleshoot complex assemblies, and lead NX/Teamcenter upgrades, with a strong focus on throughput, reliability, and model-based workflows in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of CAD/PLM administration experience, specifically focused on Siemens NX.

Responsibilities

• CAD Administration: Manage Siemens NX configurations and environment variables for peak performance.
• PLM Integration: Administer NX-to-Teamcenter integration and workspace management.
• Part Library Management: Design and maintain NX Reuse Libraries and standard catalogs.
• End-User Support: Serve as tier 3 expert for NX/Teamcenter issues and SOPs.
• Workflow Optimization: Improve large assembly modeling and MBX/MBE practices.
• Upgrades & Testing: Lead testing and deployment of NX and Teamcenter patches and upgrades.
