Job summary

Tanium is seeking a Collaboration Administrator to join the Identity and Collaboration team. The role focuses on M365, Entra, SharePoint, Slack, Teams and Exchange Online, with a shift-left security mindset and strong end-user support.

Ideal candidates will be self-directed problem-solvers who adapt to changing priorities, drive initiatives, and document configurations for future reference and training. The position follows a hybrid schedule with office days required each week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in CS/IT.
• 5 years of M365 experience with 2+ years in Entra and collaboration tools.
• Experience with Graph API, PowerShell, and IAM concepts.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint, Exchange Online, Teams, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Administration and management of M365, Entra, SharePoint, Slack, Exchange Online, Teams
• Lead or participate in projects related to collaboration tools, identity, and M365
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving complex issues related to M365, Identity, and Slack
• Manage permissions and access controls across platforms to ensure security and compliance
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures
• Develop and deliver training to educate the larger IT team or employees on collaboration tools
• Stay informed of upcoming changes that Microsoft is releasing to the M365 stack and take proactive action when needed
• Work closely with other IT teams, business units, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of collaboration solutions with business objectives
• Partner with vendors and service providers as needed, ensuring timely support and resolution of issues
• Participate in incident response efforts related to collaboration systems, including investigation, mitigation, and reporting of security incidents
