Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist for hybrid work near its offices in Charlotte, Danville, Phoenix and Raleigh. The role focuses on post-close loan administration of large syndicated cashflow participation deals, delivering multifaceted support to our business partners.

The candidate will manage daily loan servicing activities, monitor payments and rate setting, and coordinate with agent banks. Strong communication, multitasking, and regulatory awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• 0 years of experience with a degree; 4 years of experience with a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activity and reconciliation for a portfolio of 60-80 deals.
• Monitor borrowings, payments and rate setting.
• Contact agents regarding maturing loans for renewal or repayment.
• Process loans, deposits, commitments, and LC facilities for cashflow deals.
• Update Loan IQ, calculate fees and apply cost allocations for amendments.
• Calculate quarterly and monthly fees and interest; reconcile with agent banks.
• Monitor past due items and notify account manager of delinquencies.
• Process trading activity and prepare funding memos and bank confirmations.
• Handle customer audit confirmations in a timely manner.
• Administer loans per governing documents and company policy.
• Support management with inquiries and audits.
