Job summary

Alpha Omega Integration, a federal solutions provider, seeks a Senior Lead Application Developer to help modernize a federal customer’s system within a DevSecOps and Cloud framework. The role emphasizes security, scalable web apps, and advanced analytics across platforms.

You will lead design, development, and modernization efforts, tackle federal security requirements, and guide teams using Agile practices. We offer hybrid work in Washington, DC and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Ten years experience as a Full Stack Developer.
  • Experience with ground up automations using Power Automate, UiPath and Python.
  • Proficient in data structure, algorithm, object-oriented design and multi-threading.
  • Develop dynamic, responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS, implementing complex modules and services for scalability.
  • Experience with databases and SQL.
  • Experience with unit testing with JUnit.
  • Experience with modern Java development IDEs (IntelliJ/Eclipse).
  • Basic knowledge about design patterns.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of distributed system design.
  • Experience in Cloud Platforms like AWS, Azure or similar.
  • Experience in DevOps and related tools like Jenkins, Groovy, Maven, GitLab and shell script.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks and TypeScript libraries, React required

Responsibilities

Job Title: Senior Application Developer
Clearance Required: Public Trust – Federal Client requires US Citizenship
Work Location: Hybrid, Washington, DC

Alpha Omega is currently seeking a Senior Lead Application Developer to join our team and help our federal customer to modernize its system. Your contribution as a driven self-starter will be key to developing and leading a successful DevSecOps, Cloud framework. This also includes tackling the challenges of Federal security requirements while implementing the quality driven software practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environment, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on moderately complex problems that require an appropriate level of knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.
  • Apply principles, methods and knowledge of the functional area of capability to specific task order requirements, advanced mathematical principles and methods to exceptionally difficult and narrowly defined technical problems in engineering and other scientific applications to arrive at automated solutions.
  • Assist consultants and stakeholders with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in the following specialties: information systems architecture, networking; telecommunications, automation; communications protocols, risk management/electronic analysis, software; lifecycle management, software development methodologies, and modeling and simulation.
  • Commensurate experience in IT and in new and related older technology that directly relates to the required area of expertise.

Required Qualifications:

Required Experience/Skills:

Salary and Benefit Information:

The likely salary range for this position is $ 150,000 - $165,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
