Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Tech to drive HR Operations & Analytics initiatives and enable AI across HR. Focus areas include Workday Scheduling, labor optimization, and cross-functional tech solutions to improve employee experience.

You will partner with HR and Technology leaders, manage large cross-functional programs, and report progress to VP levels while shaping the technology roadmap for HR operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program, project, or product management delivering SaaS solutions.
• 4+ years HRIS/WFM tool experience in a large corporate environment.
• 3+ years Workday configuration (HCM & Scheduling) preferred.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships.
• Understanding of AI technologies in HR and responsible AI adoption.
• Proven track record delivering large cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong technical knowledge spanning cloud, APIs, and databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels.
• Organizational and planning skills with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Consult internal partners on effective utilization of technology to support their processes.
• Support Workforce Management by enabling Workday Scheduling and Labor Optimization.
• Partner with stakeholders to support AI initiatives in HR.
• Hold HR and Technology stakeholders to design principles.
• Collaborate with technology teams to enable core capabilities and deliver business value.
• Present demos, status updates and risk mitigation strategies up to VP level.
• Define and manage project intake and roadmap execution for HR tech and analytics.
• Own process design for system-related processes and ensure clear requirements and UAT plans.
• Prioritize features and develop backlog for roadmap.
• Drive cross-team programs with integrated plans.
• Engage with SaaS vendors to influence product roadmap.
• Benchmark with industry peers.
• Use research and usability sessions to validate feature design.
• Drive root cause analysis for KPIs.
• Manage special projects as assigned.
