Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to advance HR technologies across the employee lifecycle. You will drive HRIS integrations, lead Workday configurations, and manage system upgrades, tests, and validations to optimize HR processes and data integrity.

You will collaborate with HR and IT stakeholders to ensure reliable, scalable solutions, excellent user experience, and continuous improvement in HR operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HRIS, business analysis, or project/process configuration roles.
• 2+ years of experience as a system analyst or project lead.
• Strong expertise in Workday configuration and HR applications.
• Preferred ServiceNow HR Service Delivery expertise, including HR Table Structure, HR Services & Catalog, and ServiceNow Knowledge.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, database structures, and impact analysis.
• Experience in developing business process flows and wireframes to visualize system changes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact across organizational levels.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including Excel proficiency.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Experience utilizing JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Suite and other business tools.

• Provide strategic mindset in HR technology implementations, ensure seamless system integration and functionality, and lead system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and validations to support continuous optimization.
