Woodward Inc. in Fort Collins, CO, is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to join our Hybrid team at the Lincoln Campus HQ. You will serve as a subject matter expert for federal, state, and local payroll tax compliance, overseeing payroll processing across the U.S.

and Canada using Workday, OSV, and ADP Workforce Now. The role leads tax reconciliations, resolves complex tax issues, mentors junior staff, and partners with HRIS, Accounting, and Benefits to optimize processes.

Qualificações

• Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll taxation.
• Experience with Workday, OSV, and ADP Workforce Now.
• Experience managing payroll for multi-state employees.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and share payroll expertise.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a subject matter expert for federal, state, and local payroll tax compliance, providing advanced technical guidance on withholding, employer taxes, taxable wages, reporting requirements, and jurisdictional requirements.
• Lead quarterly and year-end payroll tax reconciliation activities, ensuring payroll registers, taxable wage bases, employee/employer tax calculations, general ledger balances, tax deposits, and tax filings are complete and accurate.
• Research and resolve complex payroll tax discrepancies involving current and prior tax periods, including differences in taxable wages, withholding, employer taxes, tax deposits, quarterly returns, W-2 reporting, and agency account balances.
• Oversee payroll processing and administration across the United States and Canada using Workday, OSV, and ADP Workforce Now.
• Train and mentor junior payroll staff on tax and compliance requirements, and collaborate with HRIS, Accounting, Benefits, Legal/Tax, and external vendors.
