Job summary

Roux seeks a field-supported environmental professional to aid the Project Manager on investigation and remediation projects. This role involves field sampling, supervising contractors, and coordinating drilling and soil logging to ensure project success.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years in environmental consulting, with strong data analysis and report preparation abilities. The position requires independent field work and readiness to support staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (environmental science, geology, engineering, or related).
• Minimum of 2 years of environmental consulting experience.
• Experience performing field sampling and proper sampling techniques for environmental media.
• Experience overseeing subcontractors and directing junior field staff.
• Experience overseeing drilling techniques (direct push, hollow stem, sonic) and collecting soil, groundwater, and vapor samples.
• Ability to work independently in the field and perform preliminary data evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute field project work, including drilling oversight, monitoring, soil logging, and sampling.
• Prepare and coordinate figures, tables, site descriptions, and deliverables to ensure report completeness.
• Analyze field data to support project completion and quality deliverables.
