The candidate should have 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong communication, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while leading AI-focused initiatives. This is a contract opportunity with benefits for contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience developing web-based or distributed applications.
• Experience building software using modern languages, frameworks, APIs, and cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies, large language models, or AI-enabled applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity and learn new technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to take ownership of complex problems from concept to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy Gen AI solutions using modern software engineering practices and cloud-native tech.
• Evaluate, prototype, and validate Generative AI capabilities, platforms, tools, and vendors.
• Develop AI-enabled applications using LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI frameworks.
• Transform business ideas into working software through rapid prototyping and experiments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-value AI opportunities to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Provide technical input for governance, risk, compliance, and technology approval processes.
• Research Gen AI trends and communicate findings to leadership.
• Design integrations between AI platforms, enterprise systems, and cloud services.
• Establish engineering standards, reusable patterns, and best practices for AI development.
• Independently develop clean, secure, testable code and create technical documentation.
• Present prototypes and recommendations to stakeholders and senior managers.
