Job summary

Capco is seeking a Senior GenAI Engineer in Charlotte, NC, to design, build, and scale AI-powered solutions for financial services clients. You will contribute across the full AI lifecycle—from experimentation to production deployment—while collaborating with the Technology Delivery Team.

The role requires 5+ years of software engineering with AI/ML exposure, strong Python skills, and hands-on GenAI experience. A hybrid work pattern with three days in the office is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and scalable backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Design and build GenAI applications using foundation models and modern GenAI techniques.
• Develop and experiment with autonomous or semi-autonomous agent frameworks.
• Deploy and scale AI/ML solutions in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support knowledge sharing.
