ShipBob, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our high‑performing Finance team in a hybrid Chicago office. You will lead monthly analyses of transportation initiatives, build forecasts, and develop models that drive strategic decisions and the annual operating plan.

You will present financial results to senior management and the board, support investor communications, and collaborate across departments to optimize margins and investments in our global fulfillment platform.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of FP&A or related experience.
• Hybrid schedule in Chicago office.
• Excellent financial modeling skills and understanding of financial statements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of NetSuite, Smartview, SQL, PowerBI, and Power Query is preferred.
• Ability to build partnerships with senior management and teams.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across the organization with strategic thinking.

Aufgaben

• Analyze transportation initiatives monthly and report key drivers and variances to senior management.
• Collaborate with partners to report weekly performance related to Transportation and provide outlook on ship costs and margins.
• Manage relationships with Transportation team to build bottom-up forecasts and identify risks and opportunities.
• Support development and implementation of models for new strategic transportation initiatives.
• Prepare annual operating plan with Transportation team and translate to the financial budget.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting presentations for investors and the board.
• Provide analysis of operational metrics, develop margin analyses, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Develop and improve financial models and processes in line with company objectives.
• Proactively offer solutions to business needs and optimize investments behind key strategies.
• Network with stakeholders to understand objectives and how to help achieve them.
