Job summary

RugsUSA is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain our enterprise data warehouse and BI platform. You will develop scalable data models and pipelines, enabling reliable dashboards and self-service analytics for cross-functional teams.

The role partners with stakeholders, focusing on data quality, governance, and performance, while supporting the on-site hybrid work model in our Manhattan office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or related field and at least 2 years in a software/data role.
• Experience with Snowflake, Fivetran, and dbt for performance and access in enterprise analytics.
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, and semantic layers in Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support RugsUSA's data warehouse and BI platform.
• Develop scalable data models and ETL/ELT pipelines to enable dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into reporting solutions.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across data assets.
• Provide daily support for data warehouse and related data marts.
• Document development for knowledge transfer.
