Job summary

Gen II Fund Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to develop the data capability across the organization. You will build a best-in-class data platform on Snowflake and dbt, and create end-to-end pipelines from source systems to Power BI consumers.

The role requires 4+ years in data engineering, with Snowflake experience and API/Python pipeline work, and offers a hybrid schedule with opportunities to scale the data function across finance and other areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 4+ years’ experience in data engineering, cloud data warehouses and pipelines.
• 2+ years Snowflake experience.
• dbt, SQL or similar data transformation/modelling experience.
• Experience with data ingestion, preferably using FiveTran.
• Experience using APIs and Python to build pipelines.
• Knowledge of data architecture and governance, security, and enterprise standards.
• Experience leading/managing a team of data engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a best-in-class data platform on Snowflake and dbt.
• Create end-to-end data pipelines from source systems to Power BI consumers.
• Identify and prioritize future data use-cases for Gen II.
• Ensure security and governance within the data platform boundaries.
• Assist with other projects as assigned by the Finance Team.
