Job summary

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is seeking a Senior Controller for Mortgage Servicing to lead enterprise accounting, financial reporting, and controls across a large, multi-entity organization. The role collaborates with executives, auditors, and regulators to ensure compliant financial operations.

The candidate will drive month-end close, governance, and MSR valuation, while overseeing accounting teams and ensuring accurate investor reporting to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Ginnie Mae.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification required.
• 15+ years progressive accounting experience with at least 10 years in senior-level roles in mortgage servicing or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise accounting, payroll, and accounts payable functions.
• Ensure timely month-end close and financial reporting.
• Oversee balance-sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and cash-flow management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support regulatory audits.
• Oversee MSR valuation with third-party firms and ensure US GAAP compliance.
• Manage investor reporting for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Ginnie Mae.
