Job summary

Raftelis is seeking a Senior Consultant to deliver exceptional client service in the public municipal utilities sector, focusing on financial planning, cost of service analysis, bond feasibility studies, and related financial projects.

You will build Excel-based models, analyze revenues and expenditures, and support rate and fee design while collaborating with project managers and leading junior staff through project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, economics, mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years managing projects in water, wastewater, stormwater, or related industry.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel with advanced functions and VBA.
• Strong MS Word & PowerPoint for templates and reports.
• Experience analyzing large data sets; SQL/Access queries; relational databases.
• Critical thinking to test hypotheses and develop solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Data mine and aggregate project data; build Excel-based financial models for forecasting and rate design.
• Work with project managers and switch between projects to meet milestones and deliverables.
• Produce and present reports, proposals, and presentations clearly and succinctly.
• Support senior staff in business development and lead junior staff in project execution.
• Communicate with clients to gather data and information.
