Job summary

Alter Domus is seeking a seasoned leader to manage a Debt Capital Markets operations team, owning client deliverables and driving process improvements. You will communicate with clients and internal parties, and take strategic direction with Directors and Managing Directors.

You will mentor staff, oversee P&L, ensure regulatory compliance and timely reporting, and expand client relationships while championing the Alter Domus brand across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a business or finance-related capacity.
• Knowledge of loan operations, commercial mortgage lending, or loan securitization.
• CLO compliance and Waterfall modeling experience preferred.
• Experience in direct management and training of team members.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end business line process and communicate with internal/external parties.
• Provide strategic direction with Directors/Managing Directors.
• Take full ownership of client deliverables and delegate duties appropriately.
• Ensure timeframes and deliverables with Client and Trustee are met.
• Perform active relationship management and resolve issues with clients.
• Proactively expand client relationships by understanding Alter Domus services.
• Ensure compliance with procedures/regulations and clear exceptions.
• Ensure cash reconciliation is sent to clients and daily reporting is reviewed.
• Oversee input and review of trades; manage P&L of the team.
• Drive process improvements and final delivery of solutions.
• Conduct regular workflow reviews for optimal execution.
• Understand cross-unit interactions within Debt Capital Markets.
• Assist with new client onboarding and end-to-end invoice process.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert on client engagements.
• Lead training and development of staff; mentor and coach.
