Job summary

Alter Domus in the United States is seeking an experienced operations leader to manage and oversee client delivery teams within our fund accounting practice. You will supervise 1–2 Associate Fund Accountants or Fund Accountants, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients and auditors to ensure timely, accurate reporting.

The role emphasizes adherence to industry standards, SOC1 responsibilities, and the ability to juggle multiple projects while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (or related field)
• 5+ years of professional experience
• In-depth understanding of investments within assigned fund(s)
• Broad market knowledge
• Ability to manage 2 staff members with potential for growth
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to perform multiple projects and drive solutions

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee Client Delivery teams
• Able to manage 1-2 Associate Fund Accountants or Fund Accountants with potential for growth
• Supervise and mentor a team of Fund Accountants and train new employees
• Respond to auditor queries and prepare investor reports
• Ensure compliance with internal audit procedures and SOC1 requirements
• Review documents for accuracy and conformance to standards
