Eastern Bank in Marshfield, MA is seeking a Business Banking Relationship Manager. This hybrid role combines in-office and flexible work arrangements to serve small business customers with a focus on relationship development, cross-selling, and credit evaluation.

You will build a portfolio of local clients, partner with branches and community partners, source new opportunities, and help clients grow while managing risk. A Bachelor's degree and 5–8 years in sales and banking are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of training and related experience required.
• Five-to-eight years of sales and management experience
• Basic understanding of commercial businesses and banking with some credit/training
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter, capable of generating sales prospects and pipeline
• Ability to attend networking events outside standard hours; technologically proficient

Responsabilités

• Develop a portfolio of customers, prospects and COIs through networking and business development.
• Sell bank products to new and existing customers.
• Partner with branches for cross-sale opportunities and relationship management.
• Manage relationships with community partners to leverage programs and resources.
• Source, evaluate and recommend new BB banking opportunities for loan and deposit relationships.
• Manage BB client portfolios to minimize risk and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Coordinate activities with internal partners including commercial, investments, treasury, retail, and insurance.
• Conduct preliminary underwriting and structure of credit requests.
• Maintain internal Bank contact management system with full history.
