Job summary

Orion is seeking a Senior Financial Billing Analyst to ensure accurate and timely billing, revenue recognition, and financial reporting. You will work with product development and business partners to customize the billing process for mergers and acquisitions.

This hybrid role requires on-site presence three days a week at an Orion office. You will mentor junior analysts, lead billing projects, and help optimize legacy processes while advancing new capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in billing or finance.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex billing cycles; ensure accuracy and contractual terms.
• Analyze billing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing issues and support revenue operations.
• Maintain and improve billing systems and automation tools.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes related to revenue & billing.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team development; act as billing SME.
• Develop project plans for custom billing needs and monitor progress.
• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and help implement solutions.
• Test newly developed tools and provide feedback to product development and other teams.
• Lead internal efficiency projects and process innovation for the Billing team.
• Resolve complex billing related issues.
