CohnReznick in Baltimore is seeking a Temporary Assurance Senior Associate to join our office. This hybrid role combines remote and on-site work while supporting engagement teams with senior-level audit duties and timely completion of audits.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, CPA preferred, and 4+ years in public accounting, with knowledge of audit software and strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Accounting required
• CPA designation is preferred
• 4+ years' experience in a public accounting firm required
• Knowledge of audit software
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation (verbal and written) skills

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level audit support by filling critical resource gaps and assisting engagement teams in managing workload.
• Perform detailed reviews of audit workpapers and procedures completed by preparers, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with firm standards.
• Complete remaining audit procedures and advance engagements through the final stages of the audit process to support timely completion.
