Job summary

National Grid is seeking a Senior Analyst (Treasury) to lead energy commodity contract activities, from initiation through maintenance, across gas and power supply operations. The role collaborates with Legal, Finance, and Trading to execute and redline agreements.

This hybrid position requires expertise in NAESB/ISDA contracts, experience negotiating with counterparties, and strong analytical skills. You will manage counterparty data in ETRM and coordinate compliance with Dodd-Frank and SOX.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required or implied.
Minimum 5 years of contract negotiation experience with energy commodity contracts.
Strong knowledge of NAESB, ISDA, Master Power and Power Purchase Agreements.

Responsibilities

Lead negotiation of financial and physical energy contracts for multiple National Grid entities.
Support legal, credit, and commercial teams with contract review and redlining.
Coordinate with internal/external counsel to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Enter and maintain counterparty and contract data in ETRM (Allegro) and manage templates.
Ensure compliance with Dodd-Frank, Sarbanes-Oxley, and regulatory requirements.
