Premier Group in Landover, MD is seeking a full-time Senior Accounting Associate to join our growing team on a hybrid schedule. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, reviewing statements, and driving informed business decisions with timely reporting.

You will manage general ledger activity, prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and support tax compliance and audits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and the full accounting cycle
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff
• Excellent communication and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and review statements
• Manage general ledger activity and prepare journal entries
• Perform reconciliations and account analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
