Jobot is seeking an experienced Client Accounting Advisor Senior in Maryland for a hybrid role. You will manage client bookkeeping, oversee AP/AR, payroll, and sales tax, and ensure GAAP compliance across client portfolios.

The position involves using Sage and QuickBooks, delivering monthly financial reporting, and coordinating with the finance team on budgets and policies. A CPA is a plus and benefits include medical plans, 401(k), and paid leave.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably client-facing.
• Proficiency with Sage and QuickBooks.
• Solid GAAP knowledge and practices.
• Experience managing AP, AR, payroll, and sales tax.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping duties including recording transactions and maintaining financial records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Prepare and process payroll with accuracy.
• Calculate and file sales tax returns timely.
• Reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
• Prepare financial reports with insights and recommendations.
