Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to support its corporate accounting function on an immediate project. The role involves month-end close, journal entries, cash flow preparation, and equity accounting tasks, with Excel as the primary analysis tool.

Real estate accounting experience is a plus, and MRI software familiarity is beneficial. The position offers a hybrid work model with in-office schedule Monday-Thursday and Friday remotely.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting experience, particularly with month-end close and journal entries.
• Experience preparing supporting schedules and cash flow statements.
• Familiarity with equity accounting and related transactions.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Real estate or property management accounting experience preferred.
• MRI accounting software experience is a plus.
• Open to experienced professionals and candidates with project-based or consulting backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close process.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Prepare supporting financial schedules and workbooks.
• Assist with preparation of the statement of cash flows.
• Handle equity accounting activities and related transactions.
• Support corporate accounting and financial reporting requirements.
• Use Excel to prepare, analyze, and maintain financial schedules.
