DH, a social impact communications and creative agency, is hiring a Senior Accountant III to manage core accounting functions and provide financial leadership across the agency. The role emphasizes accuracy, internal controls, and clear communication with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will oversee GL, month-end close, client billing, and tax compliance, while collaborating on budgets, forecasting and audits.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting or finance experience, including at least 2 years at a senior accountant level or comparable.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience with month-end close and maintaining audit-ready financial records.
• Experience managing client billing from contract to invoice in an agency or professional services setting.
• Knowledge of sales tax compliance and returns preparation.
• Ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies independently.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems.
• Analytical, math and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accurate work.
• Clear written and verbal communication for cross-team collaboration.

Mansioni

• Manage core accounting functions including general ledger maintenance, banking, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations and month-end close.
• Prepare financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, job-level profitability reports and other operational reporting.
• Manage the monthly client billing cycle, delivering accurate and timely invoices.
• Review billing against contracts and budgets, resolving questions with account teams and clients.
• Apply Washington sales tax on advertising services across client jobs and invoices.
• Maintain audit-ready financial records and support external audits as needed.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting through financial reporting and project tracking.
• Assist with state and local tax filings and payroll-related reporting.
