Job summary

DH is seeking a Senior Accountant III to support day-to-day financial operations in a hybrid Spokane/Seattle setting. You will handle GL, reconciliations, month-end close, and client billing while ensuring accurate financial records and internal controls.

You will partner with teams on budgets, forecasting and financial questions, maintaining audit-ready documentation and contributing to process improvements and compliance efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in accounting/finance or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years accounting/finance work; 2+ years in senior role.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and audit-ready records.
• Experience with month-end close and billing in agency/professional services.
• Familiarity with sales tax on advertising services is a plus.
• Excellent Excel and accounting software skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage core accounting: GL, banking, A/P, A/R, reconciliations and month-end close.
• Prepare income statements, balance sheets and job-level profitability reports.
• Oversee monthly client billing cycle with accounts teams.
• Review billing against contracts and budgets; resolve discrepancies.
• Apply WA sales tax accurately across client invoices.
• Monitor receivables and follow up on past-due balances.
• Support budgets, forecasts and financial guidance for projects.
• Maintain audit-ready records and assist audits as needed.
• Collaborate with HR/ops on payroll and benefits; share expertise.
