Job summary

CYPFER is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support global accounting operations and ensure timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP/IFRS as applicable. The role partners with cross-functional stakeholders and international colleagues to execute monthly closes, maintain strong internal controls, and drive process improvements across accounting.

The position is based in Allen, TX, with a hybrid schedule: in-office 3 days and 2 days remote, offering exposure to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
2–4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Experience with close processes and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Perform month-, quarter-, and year-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
Analyze income statement and balance sheet fluctuations; explain variances to management.
Support external and internal audits, including PBC schedules and walkthroughs.
Assist with intercompany accounting and consolidation activities.
Support fixed assets and revenue/COGS/expense accounting.
Partner with stakeholders to provide accounting guidance and forecast inputs.
Maintain close checklists and standardize processes; drive improvements.
