CYPFER seeks a Senior Accountant to join our hybrid team in Wylie, TX, with in-office 3 days and 2 days remote. You will support global accounting operations, ensure timely U.S. GAAP financial reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional and international partners to drive accurate close processes.

The ideal candidate has 2–4+ years in accounting, proficiency in ERP systems, and strong analytical and communication skills to contribute to a growing organization.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; required for senior level
• 2–4+ years of progressive accounting experience; public or corporate
• Working knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and general ledger accounting
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/financial reporting tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication with partners

Responsabilidades

• Perform month-, quarter-, and year-end close activities with journal entries and accruals
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations; resolve reconciling items
• Analyze income statement and balance sheet fluctuations; explain variances
• Support internal and external financial reporting packages and roll forwards
• Ensure SOX/internal control compliance and document controls
• Assist with external and internal audit requests and PBC schedules
• Support intercompany accounting and regional finance coordination
• Assist with fixed assets and lease accounting activities
• Support revenue/COGS/expense accounting and forecasting inputs
• Provide accounting guidance to business stakeholders and improve close processes
• Maintain and enhance close checklists and standardize global processes
• Drive process improvements and automation (reconciliations, close, workflows)
• Support ERP upgrades, new entity integrations, COA changes, and process design
• Provide coaching to junior staff and review work for accuracy
• Perform other duties and special projects
