TrendAI, the security-focused arm of Trend Micro, seeks a SecDevOps Engineer to own hybrid on-prem infrastructure across virtualization, networking, storage, and containerized services. You will advance automation and AI-assisted tooling while ensuring secure, scalable operations.

The role spans pfSense firewall management, Proxmox/VMware ESXi environments, and container platforms with Podman/Docker, plus scripting in Python and configuration with Ansible.

Formación

• Master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with pfSense firewall administration.
• Hands-on experience with Proxmox and/or VMware ESXi virtualization platforms.
• Practical experience with Podman or Docker container platforms.
• Proficiency in Python; familiarity with C++ is a plus.
• Experience with Ansible or comparable configuration management tools.
• Solid network troubleshooting skills across physical and virtual environments.
• Experience with SAN storage solutions and blade server hardware.
• Familiarity with Dell N-series and S-series switches or comparable enterprise switching platforms.
• Working knowledge of AI/LLM tools and their application to operational workflows.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical documentation and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and secure network perimeter infrastructure, including pfSense firewalls.
• Manage and maintain virtualized infrastructure across Proxmox and VMware ESXi environments.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot containerized workloads using Podman and Docker.
• Build and maintain automation for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible.
• Write and maintain internal tooling and scripts in Python (C++ experience a plus).
• Diagnose and resolve network issues across switching, routing, and connectivity layers.
• Administer SAN storage solutions and blade server hardware, including remote/out-of-band management.
• Configure and maintain Dell N-series and S-series switches.
• Apply working knowledge of AI/LLM tooling to improve internal workflows, documentation, and operational efficiency.
• Author clear, well-structured documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures for infrastructure and processes.
