Guidehouse is seeking a Science Program Analyst (full-time, hybrid) to support NIH efforts in prioritizing human-based research and reducing animal use. The role involves data gathering and analysis, using AI tools for briefing documents, and preparing materials for senior NIH leadership in Bethesda, MD.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in related research, strong report writing, NAMs knowledge, and proficiency in data processing, statistics, and visualization, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of two years in research, biomedical or environmental research.
• Ability to prepare clear, concise reports for diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of NAMs and emerging toxicology approaches.
• Proficiency in data processing, statistics, and visualization.
• Understanding of AI-driven language models and their applications in research.
• Experience with computational tools for chemical safety and risk assessment.
• Capability to evaluate scientific portfolios, including trend analysis and planning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Gather, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data for NIH priorities.
• Use Large Language Models for data analysis and briefing documents.
• Prepare correspondence, reports and other written material.
• Track policy and science developments related to non-animal models.
• Prepare slide decks and talking points for NIH senior leadership.
