Job summary

Soliant is seeking a School Psychologist to support students from elementary through transitioning young adults in Vernon Hills, IL. This contract role runs through May 28, 2026, with a consistent 37.5 hours per week in a supportive educational environment.

The role emphasizes psychoeducational evaluations, MTSS involvement, and collaboration with families, teachers, and IEP teams. A hybrid option allows one day per week on-site with indirect duties from home, providing flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois PEL with School Psychologist endorsement.
• Experience working with diverse student populations spanning all grade levels.
• Familiarity with an array of assessment tools and evaluation types.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborative IEP, MTSS, and parent meetings.
• Ability to manage a caseload focused on testing, meetings, and consultative MTSS support.
• Organized and self-motivated, with the capacity to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students across varying age groups.
• Attend and actively contribute to team and parent meetings.
• Support the MTSS process when needed.
• Deliver clear, actionable recommendations in written and verbal reports.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success.
• Manage your schedule while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality professional services.
