Job summary

Companions & Homemakers HCA #2052 is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to be the primary contact for clients and caregivers in your region. You’ll schedule caregivers to meet care needs and supervise regionally to uphold the company’s mission and quality care.

Work is hybrid: four days in the office and one day remote. You’ll coordinate referrals, manage schedules to control costs, resolve complaints, document in the EMR, and collaborate with care managers, recruiters, and supervisors to ensure

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in home care or healthcare preferred.
• At least 1 year of client scheduling experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse range of personalities.
• Proficient computer skills, including EMR, email, and spreadsheet data.
• Coaching and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate field staff.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize assignment of open client schedules and complete work timely.
• Directly manage and oversee coordination of new client referrals to ensure timely staffing.
• Coordinate caregiver schedules to promote consistency and control costs within budget.
• Receive, investigate, and resolve client scheduling complaints with supervisor support.
• Document interactions and changes in the EMR; keep information up to date.
• Work with care managers to update on changes in client care needs and resolve issues.
• Communicate recruiting needs to leaders and participate in recruitment and orientation as needed.
• Handle all phone interactions with internal and external callers efficiently and courteously.
• Demonstrate judgment, problem-solving, and compassion aligned with company mission.
• Other duties as business needs change.
