Job summary

Riverbend Agency - Farmers Insurance in Minneapolis is seeking a sales-focused Insurance Sales Representative. This hybrid role blends in-office collaboration with flexible work arrangements and a strong base salary plus uncapped commission to reward high performers who build lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales or business development.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to obtain Minnesota Property & Casualty Insurance License and Life & Health license.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and office software.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed new business production goals and agency objectives.
• Prepare and present insurance quotes; deliver strong sales presentations and close opportunities.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with referral partners (Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, etc.).
• Educate clients on Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial insurance options.
• Complete applications and documentation following underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements.
• Use AgencyZoom CRM to track leads, follow-ups, and sales pipeline activity.
• Provide excellent customer service to build long-term client relationships.
