Job summary

Howmet is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager in Simi Valley, CA (Hybrid, full-time) to manage inquiries, quotes, pricing and customer relations. You will coordinate with Outside Sales and factory teams to optimize pricing and lead times, while developing new accounts and maintaining strong client partnerships.

The role requires 5+ years of related experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 5 years related experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Excellent communication, presentation and persuasion skills.
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple diverse tasks with minimal direction.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Access, Word).
• Strong problem-solving, organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer inquiries, process orders and provide price and delivery information.
• Analyze market data, sales and quote history to provide quotes to customers.
• Negotiate prices within Howmet pricing guidelines.
• Administer and review customer contract details (pricing, delivery, terms).
• Develop new accounts or reactivate dormant accounts.
• Coordinate with Outside Sales on strategic customer accounts.
• Work with Howmet Factories on pricing and lead-times to win orders.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Assist with setting up customer credit limits with Howmet Credit.
• Follow up on all customer quotes.
• Team player; work effectively in a team environment.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure from internal and external customers.
• Handle low to medium volume customer accounts.
