Genex Service LLC is seeking a Medical Field Case Manager in the Bakersfield, CA area. This full-time hybrid role requires local travel for in-person patient appointments, with a comprehensive benefits package available.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, collaborating with providers, and coordinating treatment plans to return injured workers to work safely and effectively. RN licensure and CCM-like credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
• Experience: 2+ years clinical practice preferred. Workers' compensation-related experience preferred.
• Skills: Advocate recommendations with physicians/providers, employers, and customers. Independent work ability. Basic computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook. Proficient grammar and written communication.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate knowledge and competency in case management standards of practice.
• Advise on treatment plans using knowledge of injuries, medications, and job duties.
• Interview disabled persons to assess recovery and occupational relevance.
• Collaborate with physicians/providers to create and implement treatment plans.
• Work with employers and physicians to modify job duties for early return to work.
• Evaluate and adjust case goals based on progress and effectiveness.
• Independently manage workload and prioritize cases.
• Attend injured worker appointments and prepare status updates for customers.
