Job summary

Forthright Case Management is seeking a dynamic, organized RN to balance clinical case management with operational and business development tasks in the Billings, MT area. The role includes coordinating treatment plans, attending physician visits, and delivering high-quality client service within a hybrid work model.

The successful candidate will manage workers’ compensation caseloads, travel as needed for field meetings, and contribute to growth initiatives while ensuring compliance with state

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Montana or Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 3 years of Nurse Case Management experience preferred.
• Experience in workers' compensation case management strongly preferred.
• Certified Case Manager (CCM) or willingness to obtain certification preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a workers’ compensation patient panel and coordinate medical treatment plans.
• Attend physician appointments when appropriate and facilitate timely return-to-work planning.
• Prepare comprehensive case management reports and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Provide telephonic and field case management services; serve as clinical backup when needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with insurance carriers, employers, and healthcare providers.
