Fitch Ratings, Inc. seeks a Senior Analyst to join the RMBS group in our New York office. The role involves collaborating with analysts, running models and presenting reviews at rating committees, with exposure to legal and accounting issues affecting securities.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of experience in capital markets or credit analysis, with strong analytical and communication skills. Hybrid work environment with in-office presence three days a week is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree at minimum.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience (excluding internships).
• Experience in capital markets, mortgage markets, and/or credit analysis is a plus.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.

Responsabilités

• Analyze critical credit, legal and structural elements of RMBS transactions.
• Assist in development of ratings criteria and provide recommendations to bolster analysis.
• Produce internal and external written reports including credit committees, criteria documents and market commentary.
• Communicate Fitch rating methodology and criteria to issuers and investors.
• Deploy and implement cashflow models and tools used in the rating process.
• Lead and/or support research projects.
• Maintain assigned rating relationships.
